I had dinner at mom's house tonight. I had mustard greens, shell green beans, mashed potatoes, and buttermilk biscuits. Michelle was supposed to bring the baby, but they couldn't make it back. She had visited mom earlier, but I was doing my taxes. There are a lot of things to do around here and at mom's in the early spring. You can see the tops of the purple cabbage, green onions, and early broccoli. The beautiful tulips were swaying in the wind today, their deep, rich coats of purple, pale pink, and brisk yellow reminded me of how The Bible talks about not to worry what you have to eat, wear, or drink, as look at how beautiful they are, and how our Heavenly Father knows what we need. As I write this, I feel His presence, as this is a trying time for the Yoder family, as granny Joyce has cancer, and she will never be strong enough for chemo. Being a former Amish herbal nurse, I know that her stage four cancer has run its coarse. Herbs aren't even an option. So as I sit here tonight and write, keep us in your hearts and prayers.
Sicily
Sicily,
You and your family are in my prayers. As I continue on my journey leading me to my 3 day walk in Atlanta, I have lots of time to talk with God. May you and your family experience the love and comfort that God promises to us.
